How to play
You drop into a real explorable 3D arena carrying a starter blaster. On a phone, the left joystick moves you, dragging anywhere else looks around, and the FIRE button shoots whatever is under your crosshair. On a keyboard, WASD moves, the mouse looks around (click the arena first), the arrow keys also turn the camera, and space or a click fires.
A handful of rival drones drop in alongside you, looting the same glowing supply pods you are. Grab a pod before they do and your blaster gets a real upgrade: more range, faster fire, more damage. A containment field starts shrinking a short while after you drop, and standing outside it drains your health steadily, so it pushes every survivor toward the same shrinking patch of ground. Tag out every rival drone or be the one still floating when the field finishes closing. Your best score and daily streak are saved on your device only. Nothing leaves your browser.
How it compares to PUBG Mobile
Dropzone Standoff keeps the parts of PUBG Mobile’s loop that actually create the tension: real 3D movement and looting across an open arena, a shrinking zone that forces encounters instead of letting anyone camp forever, and a last-drone-standing finish. The loot-to-power curve is lifted straight from that structure too: pods you find on the ground make a real difference to your odds in a fight.
It drops nearly everything else on purpose. There is no 100-player lobby, no vehicles, no squads, no voice chat, no inventory management, and no real players at all, this is a solo run against AI drones, not a full match. We also swapped realistic weapons for stylized blaster beams and reframed eliminations as a burst of light particles rather than anything resembling combat injury, so the game reads as a bright arcade arena chase, not a war zone. PUBG Mobile’s map variety, ranked ladder, and vehicle and weapon systems are what give the real game hundreds of hours of depth, a single browser file is not attempting to replace any of that.
Use Dropzone Standoff for what it is good at: a couple of minutes between real matches, a way to feel out zone positioning in 3D on a device that cannot run the full game, or a quick check on whether the shrinking-field loop still grabs you before you reinstall the real thing.

Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the game makes no network requests at all. Your best score, daily streak, and mute setting are stored on your device with localStorage, so they survive a reload and never get sent anywhere.

How long is one round?
Up to 150 seconds, or less if you are eliminated first or you tag out every rival drone before the clock does. A new drop layout, drone count, and arena name are generated from the date, so everyone gets the same daily arena, and a streak counter tracks how many days in a row you have dropped in.
